Pemberton

A very nice ride from Vancouver is north on highway 99 through Squamish, Whistler and up to Pemberton. Even though there is a lot of pre-Olympics construction it's still one of the nicest local rides. The new four-lane divided section between Horseshoe Bay and Squamish is divine.
Anyway, we met a few friends for lunch in Pemberton. They were coming the other way after doing a weekend ride around the loop via Hope, Lilooet and south on 99 to Pemberton.
